Abstract
The main goal
of this paper is to study the effect of media use especially
the Internet on political behavior of Tehran University students. To this end,
the effect of Internet use is investigated not only by considering the amount
of access, the utilized online sources for the news-seeking, etc., but also
through the effects of environmental and cognitive elements.
Population of
this study is composed of students from Tehran University divided into 4 groups
of Humanities, the Arts, Engineering, and Sciences. Data was collected using
the survey method through conducting 295 structured, face-to-face interviews.
Findings show that the
Internet is used more frequently than other media for
tracking political news, with nearly 90 percent of
respondents indicating that they use the Internet for the purpose of finding
political news. Participation in the demonstrations among non-traditional
political behaviors, and voting in elections among traditional political
behaviors are more common among the students than the other political
activities. The results of structural equation modeling show that the
effect of media news exposure on political behavior is through the intermediate
variable of political efficacy.

Abstract
The Internet is a device that enables scholars and scientists to
communicate and exchange information with many other academic colleagues and
scientific researchers around the world. The main objectives of the present
study include determining the extent of the faculty members’ knowledge of
internet use and examining the impact of the internet use on the scientific
activities of Mazandaran University faculty members.
This study is based on the survey method and a
sample drawn from the faculty members of Mazandaran University (Babolsar, Iran)
using multi-stage cluster sampling. The results
showed that the independent variable of Internet knowledge with β= 0.63 was the
most important predictor Internet use of the faculty members, as dependent
variable. In addition, the study demonstrated that there were significant
correlations between the independent variables of Internet facilities,
opportunities, attitudes and academic positions of faculty members and
scientific activities

Findings based on the Pearson correlation coefficient indicates that process of media socialization in cyberspace, especially in the area of advertisements internet & satellite networks, the was male audiences also high motivation follow & also are high attitude of advertisements. Meanwhile, there are not significant differences between male & female audiences of media persuasion, economical value, selection of adverts advertising. In the case of multiple regression & path analysis of factors Affecting audiences media socialization, for goodness of fit of the theoretical model, based on value of beta 64% of change in audiences media socialization, depends with increasing of media persuasion, increasing of motivation follow, depreciation of economical value, increasing of adverts selection & increasing of attitude of advertisements, between the female audiences in city of Zanjan living in Housing Impersonal, With High-Volume Sampling of Households.

Abstract
This study aiming to identify and gender analysis of the factors influencing adolescents’ (12-19 years old) tendency to use the internet, in terms of the purpose, is practical and the method of data collection is descriptive-survey. The sample size is calculated as 220 people using Cochran formula and sampling is appropriate as simple random classification. The data is mainly collected by questionnaire which its validity is approved by formal validity, and its reliability by Cronbach’s Alfa (= 0.81). Data analysis is done by statistical data and annalistic tests (chi-square, Pearson, Independent T, and Expletory Factor Analysis). Results Show that there isn’t any specific relationship between the gender and amount of internet use. The most important factors which encourage them to use this media are “improving social relationships”, “drawing attention and feeling identified”, “gaining the capability of today’s world”, “experiencing freedom and equality”, and “user friendliness of the space”, which except the second and third factor, other factors have meaningful differences between girls and boys.

Abstract
Some studies indicate the negative effects and some indicate the positive aspects of Internet on various aspects of its users' lives, but it seems that excessive use of any media fuels its negative consequences. The purpose of the current research is to analyze the Antecedents and Consequences Socio-cultural of Internet addiction using a systematic background review approach. This research was conducted by qualitative method based on systematic and systematic background review. In the process of systematic review, 83 articles were identified from 2002 to 2022, and by carefully studying the text of Persian articles by university professors and experts, 48 articles were identified. Social anxiety, social capital and social phobia are respectively the strongest antecedents and social isolation, social adjustment and opposite sex orientation are identified as the strongest socio-cultural consequences. Due to the heterogeneity in the studies, the effect size of the purposeful sampling method in researches related to antecedents and consequences was higher than other sampling methods. Internet addiction increases social isolation and orientation to the opposite sex and decreases social adaptation, and is affected by social anxiety, social capital, and social phobia.
