Cultural Attachment in the Development of the Coastal Wall Plan of Pol-e-Dokhtar City in Lorestan

The aim of this study is to investigate the cultural attachment of the coastal wall project in Pol-e Dokhtar located in Lorestan in Iran. Considering the importance of historical and socio-cultural position of the city, the location of transportation and tourism routes, it is intended to identify the dimensions and components of the coastal wall cultural attachment model. This study applies a sequential mixed method. In the qualitative part, content analysis of related articles has been used. The statistical population in the quantitative part includes professors, experts and cultural management, of which 99 people have been included in the statistical sample by simple random sampling. The collection tool is a researcher-made questionnaire with 38 items, and data analysis performed using Smart Pls3 software and exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability for all variables are greater than 0.7 and convergent validity is greater than 0.5. Results show that the mentioned cultural attachment model has 7 dimensions. The Effect coefficients of which are: considering Iranian-Islamic identity (β=0.282), physical-mental security (β=0.251), natural attractiveness (β=0.216), expansion of social relations (β=0.163), use of national and indigenous symbols and signs (β=0.122), creativity in design (β=0.059) and justice in public access (β=0.043) which has appropriate validity and reliability.
