Abstract
The following research studies the role of the government, worker, and employer in labor relations with an interdisciplinary approach. The last two decades of the Pahlavi period were dominated by the labor law, which was a combination of returning part of the privileges taken away from the workers and increasing some powers of the employer in relation to the workers. The focus of the 1958 labor law was to increase the role of the government compared to other actors. In this study, it is possible to observe a trend of prohibition, emergence and reduction of the role of professional groups as a collective arm of the workforce to play a role in the regulation of labor relations, whereas the strong presence of the government in the regulation of labor relations and control of professional groups was witnessed. The research methodology of this article is based on critical paradigm and descriptive research method, and the data is collected in a documentary format.
