Abstract

Health messages design is a field and subset of health communication area. What is actually followed in this thesis is a review of TV health messages appeals effects from audiences’ point of view. The Important question of research is that how media products and its health related programs through various appeals lead in behavior changes.

In this study, health messages refer to direct or indirect messages which discuss people’s personal and social health. Since health message design is a subset of the broad area of health communication definition of health communication is mentioned at first. Then the main topic of this research has been mentioned. After discussing health message related literature, related communication theories are mentioned and finally the theoretical framework of research is defined as “The Extended Parallel Process Model”.

To measure Tehran’s above15-years old inhabitants’ attitudes toward health messages and TV health related programs, the survey method of research has been chosen and after designing questionnaire, and   distributing among inhabitants of Tehran. The most important result of this research is that TV health messages are not adequate to make behavior changes in personals, and interpersonal communication has a complementary and powerful role in adopting recommended TV health messages.

Abstract

Some of researchers are believed that ICT plays important role on social development, rising of the decision-making of rural peoples, enforcement of social capital, decreasing of the effects of natural hazardous, empowerment of the rural poor peoples, promotion of the life quality and etc. the purpose of this paper is survey of ICT role on social development in the rural areas. This research from point view of purpose is developmental and from point view of identity is descriptive and from point view of type is analytical research. Target population in the study was the rural people of located in Meshkinshar County. The needed information by means of questionnaire was collected from rural people of settled in Meshkinshar County. Statistical society of research included all of rural that have had ICT office. In addition for determining sample size the rural peoples of settled in the rural areas of Meshkinshar county was used Cochran formula. Finally, the sample size of rural peoples 195 was determined. The tool of measurement was made researcher questionnaire. The content and face validity of the instrument was specified after several times review and correction by the faculty of members at university and several expertise of administrative offices. The reliability analysis was conducted and Cronbach’s alpha values for the various sections of instrument were estimated to be between 0.87 and 0.92. The results of research showed that there was a statistically significant positive relationship between social consolidation, satisfaction, social participation, employment, and responsibility, access to social services, life quality and enforcement of educational infrastructure and using of ICT services. Finally, based on the results analysis, some applied recommendations have been provided

Abstract

Discourse evolution of foundations, variables and influencing factors in development have led to conceptual evolution in the relation between " communication and development" , So that itchr('39')s effects are also seen in development planning documents. Historical study of this evolution process in one hand, and recognition of both similarities and differences of important development plans on the other hand, present highlighting process of communication role in this field. Comparative study of communication in Sixth development plan(1355) that is the last development plan of prior regime and fourth development plan(1383) that is the first plan according to Iranchr('39')s 20-year outlook plan presents historical similarities and differences from development and communication concepts. Prior sixth plan has studied " "informational and communicational aspects of national development planning" on the base of "transition from a traditional society to an information society" in 1355 by the Joint Committee on Information and communication planning, and the fourth development planchr('39')s mission is defined "knowledge-based sustainable economic growth "Based on Iranchr('39')s 20-year outlook planchr('39')s goals. This paper describes and analyzes the concept of" communication "and" development" by content analysis of the theoretical documentations of tow plans (the report of planning Joint Committee of information and communication of sixth plan "(1355) and theoretical bases and documentation of fourth development plan "(1383) ) Based on this research, in sixth plan (1355), "national development" as developing aim and "transition from a traditional society to an information society" is problem of the country communication. These two concepts have been followed through Fourth plan (1383) with the goal of "sustainable economic growth" in development and "knowledge-based society" in communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and identify component affecting the development of social competence in organizational communication as well as determine the quality of interaction between these components by using interpretive structural modeling method from the perspective of academic experts. This research is an applied and developmental as well as quantitative and qualitative. Statistical sample is 15 people of academic experts who were selected using snowball sampling. The data collection tool is a researcher made matrix questionnaire. The results showed important components that effective on development of social competence are Social knowledge, motivation, perception, inference, adaptation, and influence, as well as verbal and nonverbal skills, and; that using interpretive structural modeling was placed at five different levels of interaction. Also, The Results showed that Social knowledge, motivation, perception, and inference had more effective than other components on development of social competencies. According to the results, we can say that the components of social competencies at different levels have effect together, and changes in the quality of each component cause changes in quality of other components at same level as well as the next level, and in turn cause changes in the quality of the organizational communication.

Abstract

IRIB as a main actor is responsible for joining public with science through which scientific discourse is institutionalized. In this essay, after providing the causal conditions and the context, the current model of science popularization, has been identified. The research method of this research is the grounded theory, and the data were gathered through the unstructured, deep interviews with 14 experts who were involved in scientific programming.
Findings of the essay suggest that IRIB current pattern, is purely ideological science. Following the conservatism, the preference for education to science popularization discourse, the low level of public perception of science, IRIB choose the approaches of tribune look like of media, extreme sophisticated of science language, scientific stereotyping and symbolic power tool which result in consequences like science distortion, the fusion of science and pseudoscience, failure to bring science to the public sphere While if IRIB modified the concept of science and adopted the non-politicized, critical and participative approaches, it could bring scientific authority  for IRIB through simplification and attractiveness of science.

Abstract

In the modern age, businesses are growing and expanding intensely because of emerging new technologies and their availability. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the expansion of home-based business in telegram and Instagram. The research method is quantitative and based on a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical population of this research includes home business activists, and the needed volume for the society was calculated 382 people based on Cochran formula. Next, members were selected and questioned using simple random sampling method. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated using Cronbachchr('39')s alpha method which is 0.772 which indicates acceptable validity of the items in measuring the research indices.
The results show that the set of economic, political, managerial and communication infrastructure factors, government oversight, government support and enhancement of ICT structure, tax and transaction costs, and the type of virtual network, have been instrumental in the growth and expansion of the home business.
