Abstract

Long experience in implementation of developmental measures based on an economic approach and without considering the environmental, cultural and social impacts of these practices has not been desirable. However, it has been found that developmental measures do not meet their goals unless specific social conditions have been provided. As the social impact assessment of developmental measures in our country has been brought into focus in different fields, it is important that appropriate models and processes should be designed. The main purpose of this article is to develop a model and guideline for social impact assessment in oil and gas projects in Iran. The method used in this paper is documentary and comparative. We, first, reviewed the general principles of social impact assessment. Then, the social issues resulted from oil industry projects in oil fields have been identified and, considering the country’s condition and the oil facilities host regions, a suitable model has been offered. Considering the range of issues that oil industry can face, there is a good opportunity for the development of social impact assessment in oil industry projects. Expanding a suitable model for this purpose can promote the efficiency of this field of study, leads to industrial development management and support its function in other different developmental actions.

Abstract

Studies have shown that most of the existing problems in the water sector are the outcomes of unsustainable methods of development caused by unawareness and lack of public training. Researchers have found that the social systems and mechanisms affecting water cycle are beyond the scope of water management and that the issue of water crisis must be addressed in the frame of social entities and systems, which are known as the water governance. The objective of this study is to identify the criteria and indicators of sustainable governance and to prepare an appropriate training program towards its realization. The tool for evaluation was a questionnaire and the research methodology was of descriptive survey. The validity of the indicators was established by taking into account the views and comments of relevant scholars and experts, and the reliability of the indicators was calculated as 0.869 using the Cronbach’s alpha formula. All criteria and indicators were graded in the fuzzy environment using the relevant software. The results show the criterion of public participation to be more sustainable than other governance criteria, while the indicators of training scored higher than others. Since the realization of sustainable governance becomes facilitated by increasing public awareness about the importance of environmental issues, the research proposes an appropriate training model to increase public participation.

Abstract

The research instrument is questionnaire. This questionnaire is composed of 36 indicators in three categories of variables economy, culture and environment. To ensure validity, the questionnaire was placed at the disposal of experts to evaluate the reliability of the results was 903. Cronbach's alpha coefficient equal Data analysis have done by using SPSS and AMOS software. Single sample T-test has been used for examining the research hypotheses and Freedman test has been applied for ranking the effects of development of ecotourism. The results showed that between the economic, cultural, environmental, the most important dimension is economic, cultural and environment are in their next orders. According to the results of T-test, average number of respondents to the effect of tours on economic variable is significantly higher than the average number of this component. Hence, the hypothesis is confirmed and it can be inferred that ecotourism tours have affected economic of Damavand. In investigation of the effect of   social and cultural variables, the results of the test demonstrate effectiveness of ecotourism tours on the studied region and finally the results about environmental effects has confirmed this effectiveness.

Abstract

The concept of participation and its application in various sciences particularly urban planning has been considered by thinkers and experts since several decades ago. The experience has proved that the participation to conduct urban affairs causes improving the efficiency, assigning the cost toward social priorities and fundamental projects. Nowadays, necessity of citizenship participation to enhance the physical and social condition of the cities is not inapparent over anyone. the main purpose of this article is to explain the direct/indirect relationships among the most key of urban participation barriers in Iran. To this end, it is used the interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and Matrice d’Impacts Croise´s Multiplication Applique´e a´ un Classement (MICMAC) analysis under fuzzy environment. The ISM method is interpretive as the judgment of a group decides whether and how the factors are related. It is structural as an overall structure is extracted from the complex set of factors on the basis of relationship amongst the elements of the system. The article research method is descriptive and analytical so that its part of descriptive included the literature review of urban participation barriers and problems in Iran, and its part of analytical encompassed the explanation of relationships among the barriers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a conceptual model for the competence of high school principals in Tehran province. This qualitative research was carried out using a strategy based on the grounded theory. In this regard, using a targeted approach and theoretical saturation criterion, semi-structured interviews with 17 people (7 faculty members specialized in the field of educational management, 5 educational staff managers in Tehran province and 5 school principals) was applied. To obtain validity and reliability of the data, two methods of reviewing participants and non-participant experts were used. The results of the data analysis in three stages, open coding, theoretical coding and selective coding, represent 17 general categories. This paper analyzed the findings of the study in the paradigmatic model including: causal conditions ( the need for continuous improvement, material and spiritual support (Incentives), changes in knowledge and occupation), the main phenomenon (required knowledge, attitudes, and skills), strategies (development centers , providing direct training, implicit training (experimental), context ( collaborative work , supportive atmosphere, decentralized structure), intervening conditions (policy, rules and regulations of facilitator / barrier) and outcomes (improvement of learning quality, organizational development, professional development).
